Starting out as an Engineering Officer in the Royal Fleet Auxiliary Service, I then came ashore and worked in Honeywell Control Systems Ltd for 15 years where I spent time in Operational Management, Sales, Marketing and Human Resources. I have run my own business in Coaching and Training since 2004.

Over the last five years I have worked with over 550 clients- schools, charities, doctor and dental practices and small businesses. I have amassed a wealth of experience in tailoring my workshops and style to suit the specific needs of the audience, whether that may be a senior leadership team in a charity, business or school; a school hall full of 90 eleven year olds or 200 sixteen year olds; or a staff team up to 70 in number within any organisation. 

Initially I started out working with adults, and broadened my coaching and training to include working with young people in 2007. I first became interested in developing people to reach their potential when I was managing the apprentice programme within the HR Dept at Honeywell in 1995. Since that time I have grown my coaching, training and personal development skills, working with individuals and teams across the UK and abroad.

In 2003 I became interested in NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) and since then have gained diplomas in NLP for Coaching, NLP for Education, NLP for Business and have also achieved the NLP Practitioner and Master Practitioner Certificates.

I now run BeGo Coaching & Training, working with education, healthcare, charities, small businesses and private individuals inspiring them to learn and use simple coaching techniques for the benefit of themselves, their organisations and those around them. A large part of my week is spent working directly with children and young people running workshops in schools, colleges and universities.

I works with five other freelance, professional training Associates who support me in running programmes where multiple trainers are required or where I am already booked up to be elsewhere

I am CRB checked for working with children and teenagers and am certified by The International NLP Trainers Association (INLPTA).
